Charlene Kaye feat. Kalae Nouveau - Woman Up (Dave Scalia Remix)
"I see my women in the struggle
The nine to five hustle, see the bustle here, trying to flex muscle
But the dudes keep a muffle, stifling sound
All the walls stars tumbling down down down
But you’re a queen, where’s your crown, why you messing around […]
Girl, you’ve got to woman up”
In celebration of International Women’s Day.
For Lent I’m just giving up in general
it’s too hot. it’s too cold. it’s too hot. why am i still awake? if i fall asleep now i will get four hours of sleep before i need to wake up again. i wonder if anyone else is awake. why did i say all that stuff earlier today? i need to pee. i need to pee. it’s too cold again.
You can take the most respectful, sensitive people, give them Cards Against Humanity, and in a few minutes they’ll be laughing about genocide.
no stop, stop right now,
Elle Woods is a very intelligent young woman, who we see working very very hard and completely giving up on her social life to study hard enough to get into Harvard.
The line “What like it’s hard?” is her way of getting a dig at Warner for calling her dumb by making out that getting in was easier than it actually was.
Warner then wants her back because he’s a dick and she is now up to his standard because she’s hot and went to the kind of school that he considers a high standard. He looked down on her before because she was doing fashion rather than something “intellectual”.
She doesn’t fall for “the quiet nerdy guy” she ends up with a dude who respects her as a human being than a man who saw her as an accessory to his own ambition.
Elle Woods is not a Mary Sue, at all, Elle Woods is a feminist icon.
